Financial Aid

Financial assistance is provided through the Wayne State University Office of Financial Aid on the basis of need. Aid is generally awarded to TRIO students during the summer, fall and winter semesters.

Each applicant must submit two copies of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to reflect two separate academic years. The admission application and the FAFSA may be obtained from designated recruiters at your high school or community agency. You may also view the Web site, www.fafsa.ed.gov for further details.

The FAFSA application form takes six to eight weeks for processing and should be completed prior to applying to scheduled interviews with TRIO staff.
